Value — AI-Powered Valuation

Get an instant, confidence-rated valuation for any ENS name. Name Whisper's three-track model combines comparable sales, linguistic quality analysis, entity recognition, and market signals to estimate fair value.

The valuation engine analyses each name across multiple dimensions and returns an estimated value range with a confidence score. This helps you make informed decisions whether you're buying, selling, or just curious about what a name is worth.

How to use it

  1. Switch to Value mode.
  2. Enter an ENS name (e.g. ocean.eth).
  3. Review the valuation card showing estimate, confidence, and signal breakdown.

What the valuation includes

  • Estimated value range — low, mid, and high estimates based on multiple tracks
  • Confidence score — how much data supports the estimate (0–100)
  • Comparable sales — recent sales of similar names with IQR outlier removal
  • Quality signals — word frequency, pronounceability, syllable count, sentiment
  • Entity signals — Wikipedia page views, Wikidata classification, trademark risk (USPTO)
  • Search interest — Google Trends data and commercial keyword metrics (CPC, search volume)
  • Category benchmarks — how the name compares to its category averages
How the three-track model works
Track A (Comparable sales) finds recent sales of similar names and adjusts for quality differences. Track B (Quality-reference) scores linguistic quality, entity fame, and search interest independently of comps. Track C (Self-history) uses the name's own sale history. The final estimate is the maximum across all three tracks, with adjustments for ENS cultural premiums and crypto term premiums.

Registering a New ENS Name

Register an available ENS name directly on-chain. ENS uses a two-transaction commit/reveal process with a mandatory 60-second wait to prevent front-running.

How registration works

  1. Check the name is available using Check mode.
  2. Click Register and choose a duration (1 or 2 years).
  3. Transaction 1 (Commit) — submits a hashed commitment to the ENS contract.
  4. Wait 60 seconds (required by the ENS protocol to prevent front-running).
  5. Transaction 2 (Reveal) — completes the registration and assigns the name to your wallet.
Pricing
ENS registration costs vary by name length: 5+ characters are the cheapest, 4 characters cost more, and 3-character names are the most expensive. Gas fees apply to both transactions.

Bulk Operations

Register, transfer, renew, and configure multiple ENS names in a single transaction. Bulk operations use Multicall3 batching to save gas and time — dramatically cheaper than processing names one at a time.

Bulk Register

Register up to 20 names in just 2 transactions. All commitments are batched into one commit transaction, then after the 60-second wait, all registrations complete in a single register transaction. Each name gets its own front-running protection secret. All names must be available.

Bulk Transfer

Transfer up to 20 names to one or more recipients in a single transaction. Automatically detects whether each name is wrapped (NameWrapper/ERC-1155) or unwrapped (BaseRegistrar/ERC-721) and builds the correct transfer call for each. Resolver records stay on the names — they are not affected by the transfer.

Bulk Set Records

Configure ENS records across up to 50 names in a single transaction. Set ETH addresses, text records (email, URL, socials), avatars, and content hashes for your entire portfolio at once. All record updates are flattened into a single resolver multicall.

Batch Renewal

Renew multiple names in a single transaction via Multicall3. Pass multiple names to the renew flow and they are bundled together — one signature, one gas fee. Anyone can renew any name (you don’t need to be the owner). Excess ETH is refunded.

Terminal & MCP
All bulk operations are available via the AI terminal (just describe what you want in plain English) and as MCP tools for agent integration: bulk_register, bulk_transfer_ens_names, bulk_set_records, and renew_ens_name (with multiple names).

Managing ENS Records

Set and update the on-chain records attached to your ENS names. Records control where your name resolves, what profile information is displayed, and how other apps interact with your identity.

Connect your wallet, navigate to a name you own, and click Manage. The records editor opens with tabs for different record types.

Avatar

Upload a custom image or use your ENS NFT as an avatar. Supported formats include PNG, JPG, and GIF. Avatars are stored on IPFS and linked to your name via the avatar text record.

Address records

Set cryptocurrency addresses that your name resolves to. The most common is your ETH address, but you can also add BTC, SOL, and other chain addresses. This lets people send crypto to your ENS name instead of a raw address.

Text records

Add profile information visible to any app that reads ENS records:

  • Email — contact email
  • URL — personal or project website
  • Description — a short bio or name description
  • Social handles — Twitter/X, GitHub, Discord, Reddit, Telegram, YouTube
  • Keywords — tags for discoverability

Content hash

Point your ENS name at a decentralised website by setting an IPFS or IPNS content hash. Visitors can then access your site at yourname.eth.limo.

Wallet Connection

Connect your Ethereum wallet to unlock trading, portfolio tracking, watchlists, and name management. Name Whisper uses Sign-In with Ethereum (SIWE) for secure, passwordless authentication.

  1. Click Connect Wallet in the top-right corner.
  2. Approve the connection in MetaMask (or your wallet provider).
  3. Sign the SIWE message to authenticate — this does not cost gas.
  4. Your ENS name (if set) and wallet address appear in the header.
No account needed for browsing
Searching, valuing, and exploring names is completely free and requires no wallet or account. Wallet connection is only needed for trading, watchlists, and record management.

Watchlist & Alerts

Track specific ENS names and get notified when their price drops, they sell, or someone makes an offer. Add names to your watchlist from any search result or name profile.

How to use the watchlist

  1. Click the Watch button on any name result or profile.
  2. Open your watchlist from the user menu.
  3. For each watched name, set an alert price (ETH threshold).
  4. Toggle alert types: Price drop, Sale, or Offer.

Alert types

  • Price drop — notified when the name trades below your alert price

Receive watchlist notifications via email. Configure your email address once and alerts trigger automatically based on your watchlist settings.

  1. Open the user menu and click Email Alerts.
  2. Enter your email address.
  3. Alerts will be sent whenever a watched name triggers a notification.

Ticker Bar & Live Sales Feed
